2-Step Fabric Opaque Material Transfer Paper
2-step opaque
2-Step Opaque Material is the original method for transfer paper to dark garments. AllTransfers also offers 1-step opaque material in both laser and inkjet formats to help improve production for our customers.
This 2-step Opaque Material is a thicker fabric type paper that will leave a thicker heat transfer on your fabric. You will need this paper and also regular heat transfer paper for light colors to complete this process. This 2-step transfer paper can be used with both laser transfer paper and inkjet transfer paper.
Do NOT run Opaque Material through your Copier or Printer.
About Opaque: The Opaque Transfer Material is a think white fabric patch used to transfer images onto dark fabric. Image your Copier or InkJet transfer paper to the Opaque Material, then press the Opaque Material to the garment
Heat Press Setup
Set temperature of your Heat Press to 375 degrees F
Set pressure to High, Maximum Pressure
Bonding Imaged Transfer to Opaque
Place Opaque sheet on the heat transfer press, Fabric Side Up.
Position Imaged Copier or InkJet Transfer Paper imaged side down on top of the Opaque sheet
Heat Press for 5 - 10 seconds. Remove from heat transfer press
Peel Transfer Paper away while warm
Trim as Required
Pressing Opaque to Garment
Place Garment on Heat Press
Remove Backing Paper from the Opaque sheet, exposing adhesive.
Position Opaque on garment, sticky side down. Cover with Silicon sheet.
Press for 20-30 seconds with Maximum Pressure.
Open heat press and remove silicon sheet
Washing Instructions
Machine wash on gentle cycle or hand wash in cool water
Do not use Bleach or Fabric Softener
Detergents with Bleach additives are not recommended
Air dry in dryer or hang dry
Do not Dry Clean
