The HIX MG-500 is a fuser heater that is produced specifically for those who do mugs with heat transfers from color copiers. Copier transfers do not adhere to mugs very well in the standard 3 - 4 minutes in a mug press. The transfers need to be cured an additional 2 - 2.5 minutes so normal washing, in a dishwasher, will not erase the image.
This low cost, efficient heater provides maximum productivity (and greater customer satisfaction). By taking the mug out of the mug press and putting it into the fuser to finish curing, the operator can do many more mugs per hour. The curing also sharpens colors and makes them more glossy and smooth. Because this is an element heater, it is also much more powerful and efficient than any quartz bulb design can be.
Cures laser transfers onto mugs after they have been transferred in a mug press.
Utilizes a heat element which is more powerful and lasts longer than quartz bulb designs which tend to break, burst, or burn out.
